Born in Attleboro, MA, Brodie’s love of skateboarding brought him to NYC in 2021. Initially freelancing in film, video, and photographic production then moving into wardrobe, Brodie found his love in fashion while working retail and skateboarding.
Motion has always intrigued, inspired and motivated him. From first watching skate videos and later street skating himself, he developed a keen eye for “movement” and the practicality of skate culture. Launching his own brand Avail New York in his bedroom (established 2020), with a focus on staples such as printed knits and wovens, he is melding his two interests of skating and fashion.
His dressing style is practical, skate-inspired, and versatile. Adaptability is key to good styling and he believes it is important to build on a client's personal aesthetic while retaining a level of trust to keep them feeling comfortable and confident.
Brodie currently resides in Ridgewood, NY where he practices freelance styling while also working for celebrity stylist Michael Fisher.
